Phase A

Project Overview

The City of Glendale, in partnership with Haydon Companies, LLC, is starting construction on the Phase A – 47th Avenue Alignments of the Bethany Home Road Drainage Improvement Project. This work is intended to address the flooding issues near 51st Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The project will be completed in three phases, beginning with Phase A being the 47th Avenue Alignment. 

Project Details

Project Start Date: January 2026
Anticipated Completions: Spring 2027

The drainage project improvements includes installation of a new 36”-66” storm drain, waterline relocations, removal & replacement of driveway sidewalk curb & gutter, and asphalt paving. 

What To Expect

  • NO PARKING will be enforced in the construction zone.
  • Temporary traffic restrictions will be in place. Please drive carefully through the construction zone.
  • Adjacent business and residents may experience temporary driveway closures and water interruptions; advance notice will be given.
