Glendale Family Advocacy Center

The goal of the Glendale Family Advocacy Center is to provide comprehensive and coordinated services to crime victims in a safe, comfortable and convenient setting. We envision a community where survivors of crime feel supported and heard as they navigate the criminal justice system and engage in their own personal healing. Services to support crime victims will be trauma informed, evidence based and victim centered with a primary focus of justice, empowerment, restoration and healing.

Child Abuse Prevention

Child-Abuse-Prevention-Month.png

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, focusing on community collaboration to build safe, stable environments for children. Each April, communities are encouraged to increase awareness about child and family well-being and work together to implement effective strategies that support families and prevent child abuse and neglect.

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, nurturing environment – yet too many families face challenges that put their wellbeing at risk. Child abuse is largely preventable. By focusing on prevention, we shift the conversation from tragedy to strength, hope, and solutions. To understand more about child abuse, click here.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is a time for advocates, survivors, loved ones, and the community to come together to talk openly about sexual violence to support survivors, increase knowledge and awareness, and identify strategies and resources to prevent sexual violence. Prevention starts with all of us. It is in how we support one another, practice consent, and create spaces rooted in care and respect. When we act with intention, we move closer to a future free from violence. Together, we can continue to shift culture, strengthen prevention, and create a world free from all forms of sexual violence.

AZ Glendale VINE System

The AZ Glendale VINE system is a service through which victims of crime can use the Internet to search for information regarding the custody status of their offender and to register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when the offender’s custody status changes.
