AMERICA 250 CELEBRATION
Celebrate 250 years of America with a free night under the Arizona sky. The City of Glendale brings the hits of Journey to Murphy Park with DSB: A Tribute to Journey, plus a performance by The Glendale Summer Band, food trucks, a beer garden in the amphitheater, and a patriotic drone show finale lighting up the night.
Kids can cool off in the Foam Zone and Bubble Play Area, with face painting and family activities throughout the event.

Know Before You Go
Water Bottles: Bring an empty water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the night. A water refill station will be available on-site.
What items are not allowed? Please do not bring drones, alcohol, weapons of any kind, personal fireworks, barbecue grills, glass bottles, coolers, fold-out tables, tents, canopies, large umbrellas, pets, laser pointers, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, bikes, kites, or amplified sound devices. Service animals are permitted.

The Movies By Moonlight series is back, bringing family-friendly movie nights to parks across Glendale!

Pack a blanket, bring your family and friends, and get ready for an evening under the stars. Each month, we'll transform one of Glendale's beautiful parks into an outdoor theater, featuring popular movies in a fun and relaxed community setting.
Enjoy a different park location each month, creating a unique movie-going experience surrounded by Glendale's scenic outdoor spaces.

Glendale Glitters Returns to Downtown Glendale
Celebrate 33 years of holiday magic as Glendale Glitters makes its triumphant return to Murphy Park in Historic Downtown Glendale!
Join us for the official lighting ceremony on November 27 at 5:45 p.m., followed by the Glendale Glitters Kickoff Event on November 27 and 28 from 5–10 p.m. each evening.
This festive two-night celebration will feature dazzling light displays, interactive attractions, and picture-perfect holiday photo opportunities. Enjoy holiday shopping with local vendors, seasonal treats, live entertainment, and the cheerful sounds of holiday carolers. Be sure to stop by and visit Santa during this special holiday tradition!
Following the kickoff event, the spectacular holiday lights will remain on display nightly through January 1, shining from 5–10 p.m.
Bring your family and friends to stroll through Historic Downtown Glendale, experience the magic of the season, and enjoy the unique shops, restaurants, and holiday charm that make Glendale Glitters a cherished community tradition.

The Chocolate Affaire returns to the Glendale Civic Center in Downtown Glendale!
Join us on February 13th & 14th, 2027 from 10am-5pm each day!
Indulge in all things chocolate -- from decadent treats to artisan creations and mouth-watering chocolate-inspired dishes, this is the ultimate chocolate lover's paradise!
