Volunteer Opportunities

Glendale's 20th Annual Serve Day

Citywide
Saturday, February 14, 2026
9am-11am

The Community Programs Division is seeking teams of volunteers to participate in a citywide street clean-up with the goal of removing 5000 pounds of trash and debris from the streets of Glendale. Teams should be made up of 10-20 volunteers and will be assigned a one mile stretch of road to clean. Tools will be provided to complete the project (trash pickers, trash bags, gloves, safety vests and snacks). Team leads will be able to pick up the tools from our office (7677 W. Bethany Home Rd.) a few days before the event. Due to volunteers working close to the street, we ask that volunteers be at least 14 years old. We recommend wearing light colored clothing, closed toe shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Please register here for the event.

Below are the dates for the food distributions. 10-15 volunteers are needed for each volunteer opportunity.
