The rubber hit the road as about 1,000 bicyclists joined in the Glendale Family Bike Ride on April 12th. This free event brought out members of the community to enjoy the beautiful day while riding through the city with friends, family and other people who enjoy cycling. There was also a fair with carnival games, inflatables, a DJ, food trucks, vendors, booths with information about the city and more. All riders received a specially designed finishers' medal. There were helmet giveaways and bike tune-ups as well.
