Glendale Announces Opening Of 2026-2027 Performing Arts Grant Program

The City of Glendale is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026–2027 Performing Arts Grant application window. Beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and continuing through Sunday, May 31, 2026, artists and organizations are invited to apply for funding to support vibrant and diverse performing arts programming within Glendale city limits.

This grant opportunity is open to projects in music, theatre, dance, and spoken word, with funded performances scheduled to take place between September 1, 2026, and August 31, 2027. Glendale remains committed to supporting the creative community and enhancing cultural experiences for residents and visitors.

“There’s much more that unites us than divides us, and the Arts are a great connector to the moments that bring us together,” said Christopher Taylor, Glendale’s Arts and Culture Administrator. “The Office of Arts and Culture is honored to be leading this program for our Glendale arts ambassadors.”

Artists seeking performance venues within Glendale, such as the Glendale Main Library Auditorium or Murphy Park, may request partnership opportunities. A Partnership Agreement Form is available to support these collaborations.

New Requirement for 2026–2027:
All grant recipients must either:
A) Be registered with the Arizona Corporation Commission, or
B) Provide an exemption letter confirming independent contractor status.
