The City of Glendale, in partnership with First Tee – Phoenix, is hosting a junior golf clinic designed to introduce the game of golf or help participants improve their skills. First Tee – Phoenix is a nonprofit organization that empowers kids and teens through the game of golf. Junior attendees will focus on learning the basic rules, fundamentals, skills, and drills of golf in a fun and supportive environment.
Special Opportunity
Participants in this clinic will have the opportunity to be selected for a full year of participation in the First Tee – Phoenix program, including coaching and youth development programming.

Lacrosse Clinic
Learn the fastest game on two feet - Lacrosse! The Fundamentals of catching, throwing, scooping, cradling taught then out into action with a game to end the clinic.
No experience or equipment required.

Flag Football
Ready, set, hike! Our flag football program will teach participants fundamentals and rules of the game all while having FUN! Flag football is a safe, no-contact alternative to tackle football making it safer for younger players. This recreational but fast-paced 5-on-5 flag football league is for both boys and girls. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in limited contact, and continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. The league teaches the fundamentals of football offensive plays, defensive plays, rules, and sportsmanship.
This 8-week season will start with practices the week of September 21.
Practice days and times will be determined by your volunteer coach; Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday at 7 PM or 8 PM.
Games will be on Thursdays and will start the week of October 5.
All practices and games will be played at Sahuaro Ranch Park Sports Complex.
Participants will receive a team shirt and will play 6 games.
Week 1 and 2 of the season are practice(s) only.
Weeks 3-8 of the season are one practice per week and one game per week for a total of 6 games.
Game times at 7 PM, or 8 PM.
