The city of Glendale offices will be closed on Presidents Day, Feb. 16, but many services will still be provided to residents.

Some public transportation options will be available for people in Glendale on Presidents Day. Glendale OnBoard Microtransit services will be in operation from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 16. All trips for Glendale OnBoard Microtransit rides must be scheduled by noon on Feb. 13. On Presidents Day, only GUS Bus 1 will be in service from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., while GUS Bus 2 and GUS Bus 3 will not be in operation. Paratransit and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) public transportation will not be affected by Presidents Day. Glendale Public Libraries will be closed on Feb. 16 but will be open for their usual hours on Feb. 17.
Rose Lane Community Center, O’Neil Community Center, Glendale Community Center and the REC on Wheels program will all be closed on Feb. 16. The Glendale Adult Center and Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center (FRAC) also will be closed on Feb. 16. They will reopen for regular hours on Feb. 17. The Glendale Municipal Airport will remain open, as it always is, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, the airport’s administrative office will be closed on Feb. 16. The airport terminal will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Presidents Day.
And the Glendale Convention & Visitors Bureau will be closed on Feb. 16.
