Responsibilities

The Office of the City Clerk:

  • Coordinates all City Council meeting agendas
  • Prepares City Council meeting and workshop minutes
  • Posts agendas and minutes
  • Conducts City elections
  • Creates and stores electronic records
  • Responds to public records requests
  • Processes City's legal notices for publication
  • Codifies new ordinances in the City Code book
  • Coordinates recruitment of board and commission members
  • Oversees the City's Records Management Program
