You can obtain a copy of a report multiple ways.

To obtain a copy of a Traffic Accident or Incident Report fill out an online records request form (see below) and mail it in or request the report in person by coming to the Glendale Police Department Main Station. For your convenience, if requesting a Traffic Accident you may also obtain a copy online at www.buycrash.com.

Once the Record’s department receives a request for a copy of a report, it is forwarded to the Officer or Detective listed on the report as well as the division supervisor. Once the report is approved for release and redacted, Records will mail it to the requestor or call to inform the requestor the report is ready for pickup. A requestor may indicate which option they prefer at the time of request.

You can leave a message with an Officer at (623) 930-3165. When you dial that number, after listening to the prompts it will ask you for an extension number, this number is the Officer’s Badge number. You can find the badge number on your Victims’ Rights Brochure or on paperwork received from the Officer.

To speak with the Detective assigned to your report, please call (623) 930-3000, listen to the options, and select option #2. This will take you to records. Records will then determine who is assigned to you case. Please have your report number ready and a pen/pencil and paper at hand to write down the detectives name and number we give you when you call.
