Do you love the outdoors and take pride in your community? You may be the person we are looking for to help us make a difference in Glendale's parks! Got friends, family, co-workers, neighbors that might want to join you? Even better! We are just waiting to match you up with a project.

Adopt a Trail Program

Calling all hikers, equestrian riders, mountain bikers and just plain ol' nature lovers! You can help the city of Glendale protect and maintain the trails and parks through the Adopt A Trail program. The donation of volunteers' time in our parks provides invaluable assistance to the maintenance and ranger staff, and makes our parks a better place for the entire community.

We are always looking for volunteers! Complete the Interest Form to learn more about the program and upcoming events.

Partners 'n Parks (Adopt a Park)

Partners 'N Parks is a volunteer program that offers residents an opportunity to give something back to their community by helping to maintain a park or certain aspects of it. The City of Glendale has 96 parks and green spaces throughout the city that are available for a group or individual to adopt. (Check out all of Glendale's parks.)

Want to get started right away? Call our Community Volunteer Program to get started with your group/family/team and we will find a project that fits your needs. Call 623-930-2663 and leave a message. Our program coordinator will get back to you in a timely manner.

This program is open to any group looking to give back to the community. Examples include: hiking and biking enthusiasts, neighborhood associations, religious/church groups, schools, scout troops, military and civic associations and more.
