From the Heart

From the Heart is a voluntary utility billing donation program established by the City of Glendale, our mission is to facilitate donations by users of city services in support of human services programs serving the community.

From the Heart is a unique partnership between Glendale residents, the City of Glendale, and local community organizations. Your donations improve the lives of Glendale residents—whether serving meals to the elderly, providing assistance to families, or supporting youth enrichment activities. We support and care for our neighbors From the Heart!

The FY2026–2027 Grant Cycle is officially closed as of Monday, March 23, 2026. Awards will be announced in May. Thank you for your interest in partnering with the City of Glendale!

Our Impact

Since its inception in 1997, more than $2.25 million have been raised and distributed to non-profit agencies serving Glendale residents. Every From the Heart dollar stays right here in our community to support social service agencies that serve Glendale residents. 15% of Glendale utility customers add a $2.00 contribution to their monthly utility bills. Others make in-person donations by check.

Donating is easy!

Making a From the Heart donation is easy. Glendale utility customers can add $2 to their monthly utility bill payments. If you don't receive a utility bill, or you want to donate more than $2 per month, you can mail or bring a check or money order made out to From the Heart in any dollar amount to:
