Noise Abatement Procedures

The airport is owned and operated by the City of Glendale, but the Federal Aviation Administration manages aircraft in flight and establishes flight patterns. As a public airport, Glendale Regional Airport must be available for public use 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The airport encourages aviators to operate between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. as part of our Noise Abatement Procedures(PDF, 107KB). However, the Airport cannot, by law, prevent aviators from flying outside of those hours.
