Gila River Indian Community 2026 Grant Cycle documents are posted on the Gila River Indian Community website at www.gilariver.org.

  1. Under the “Departments” tab, click “Office of the Treasurer” dropdown
  2. Scroll down and open the “Office of Special Funding” section (left side of page). Here you will find the links for the GRIC Grant Guidelines and GRIC Grant Application.

Gila River's Application Process

  • All applicants must use the Gila River Indian Community application, easily identified by the heading “Grant Cycle 2026.”
  • A City Council resolution will be required only for those proposals identified to receive awards and will be required after funds have been awarded.
  • However, a municipality representative must sign the application cover sheet to acknowledge your application in order for it to be accepted by the Gila River Indian Community.
  • For this purpose, Grants Program Manager will serve as the City of Glendale representative.

 

Requesting Municipal Sponsorship

Please read all instructions carefully before submitting your application. Failure to follow the specified guidelines may result in your application being rejected. The City may take up to 10 business days to review submissions, so please plan accordingly and be mindful of all application deadlines.

Grant Cycle Opens

 

March 20, 2026 - 6:00 p.m.
Cover sheets due to City Grants Program Manager for signature of acknowledgement

 

March 31, 2026 - 5:00 p.m.
Complete Grant applications due electronically to the Gila River Indian Community Office of Special Funding at gricgrants@gric.nsn.us.

 

August 2026
Applicant Notification of Award phase will be made.

 

September 2026
Funding Award Resolution on City Council Meeting Agenda.

 

September 2026
Copy of executed City Council resolution will be sent directly to Gila River Indian Community with copies to awarded applicants upon approval and execution.

 

October 2026
Grant awards will be made by GRIC on or before October 25, 2026
