As Temperatures Climb, the City Offers Ways for the Public to Remain Cool

The Heat Relief Network (HRN) operates Wednesday, May 1 and lasts through September 30, 2025.

The City of Glendale partners with the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) through the regional Heat Relief Network, which provides hydration stations, refuge locations, and water donation sites across the Valley. Launched in 2005 after a deadly heat wave, the network includes 13 Glendale sites that distributed 54,056 bottles of water last summer—nearly double the previous year.

Heat Relief Safety Tips
