Glendale Family Resource Fair
At the 12th Annual Glendale Family Resource Fair, families can meet community organization, learn about available resources, and participate in interactive activities for families. Chat with service providers to learn about health, career and financial resources available to you and your family. Free haircuts will be available for ages 5-17 on a first come-first serve basis as time and space permits.
When: Saturday, April 4, 2026
Where: GESD System of Care Center, 7677 W. Bethany Home Rd.
Time: 9am-12pm
Expect resources from community partners to include:
- Financial Stability: Financial literacy classes hosted by Credit Union West in the Literacy Center offering Banking 101 (9:30am) and Budgeting Strategies (10:30am). Attendees will have the opportunity to open a new account on-site with the chance to win a prize. Two proofs of identification are required for account opening.
- Food Assistance: Sign up for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) grocery benefits and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) support
- Healthcare: Learn about coverage options through Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), Arizona's Medicaid program
- Workforce Development: Receive assistance with resume writing and job-readiness skills
- Caregiver Support: Connect with resources to help families caring for loved ones with dementia
