New development requires city street lighting standards be followed. The city has adopted the IESNA Roadway Lighting Standard Practice # 8 (RP-8) as the guideline to be used when designing street lighting in the City of Glendale. The city’s street lighting program wants to support planners and other stakeholders who are working with or near street lighting and related assets.
